Similar to the way society has placed preferential treatment on the health of our skin, we’re seeing hair care routines focus on the health of our scalps.
Over the years we noticed how many people had reached out asking for solutions for ongoing scalp issues, which is why we launched our SCALP.SPA range, aimed at improving the function and feel of the scalp. Continuing to place focus on this vital region, we are excited to announce two new additions the to range — SCALP.SPA TREATMENT and SCALP.SPA SERUM. Packed with skin-loving ingredients that when used in combination with our SCALP.SPA SCRUB and SCALP.SPA WASH will nurture your scalp back to health and ensure the best possible conditions for hair growth and fortitude.
We wanted to create a line that addressed problems ranging from irritation to dull hair, buildup of product, or an oily scalp. What we noticed is that while many have all-over scalp issues, others need targeted treatments in confined areas. We also wanted to look for solutions that would not only be problem-solving but also gentle enough for regular use because caring for the health of the scalp can positively impact the quality of the hair.
“Skincare for hair” has long been ingrained in our ethos as is utilising the best ingredients of science and nature to offer you at-home wellness solutions for scalp health. Passionate about our choices, we selected ingredients like plant oils, esters, and other additions from science to help balance and soothe the scalp.
SCALP.SPA TREATMENT uses new technology to deliver a rich, luxurious foam. Specifically, we looked for advances in propellent technology to ensure an exempted VOC — this means the compounds are determined to have low photochemical reactivity. This is important because it has allowed us to create a concentrated foaming masque, designed to relieve sensitive scalps and restore scalp health, via a rich silky foam. It also removes dirt and excessive oils from the scalp to keep it fresh and healthy.
For best results, add SCALP.SPA TREATMENT to your weekly self-care regimen. Part the hair and apply the foam directly to the scalp, then take your time and massage the satin-like formula into the area and leave it on for 20 minutes.
The key “skincare for hair” ingredient in this formula is Hyaluronic Acid. It helps soothe the scalp and offers hydration as it helps to seal the moisture in. Carrot Root Extract is another skin conditioning ingredient that helps clear the scalp and is used in conjunction with our hero ingredient, Celery Seed Extract, designed to greatly improve scalp condition and resilience.
This calming, soothing, and nourishing thick foaming masque does not weigh the hair down and can be used alone or in conjunction with the other members of the SCALP.SPA range.
In addition to a product that would nourish and soothe the scalp, we wanted to create something that would give targeted relief for problem scalps that was also gentle enough to be used all over. SCALP.SPA SERUM is a lightweight and fast-absorbing, leave-in treatment that provides instant soothing and balancing relief to an irritated scalp.Simply part clean dry or damp hair and use the applicator to apply this silky treatment all over the scalp or to specific areas. If applying to targeted areas, use the tip to part the hair and apply to the desired area.
As with SCALP.SPA SCRUB and WASH, Celery Seed Extract is a key ingredient that helps soothe and moisturise an itchy or irritated scalp. We’ve also added Witch Hazel Water, to tighten and tone, as well as Rose Flower Oil to promote the very best scalp health and lend problem-solving attributes to a range of issues.
This silky serum can be used every day, either all over or targeted directly to treat areas of irritation.
