Hey friends! I’m going to be giving you a few tips on how to grow out your hair! I’ve spent YEARS trying to get my hair to grow passed my collarbones. I started highlighting my hair back in high school, would use my flat iron to straighten it once (sometimes twice) a day, and I was never using the right products!

So let’s start:
  1. Cool it on the bleach. I know it sucks. When you just want to be platinum, Julianne Hough blonde, but your hair won’t let you. There are some ways you can be blonde without having to get your highlights every month.

  2. Please DO NOT sleep on wet hair. When your hair is wet, it is in the most fragile state, so sleeping on it will do some damage. (I was doing this for yeeeeaaars)

  3. MASKS, MASKS, MASKS. And honestly, nothing’s better than pouring yourself a glass of wine and sitting in a bubbly bath with a mask soaking in your hair. (That can be your getaway from the kids, spouse, etc.)

  4. I love styling my hair. I’m a hairstylist - it’s what I do! But putting heat on my hair everyday was definitely one of the biggest reasons why my hair would never grow. I choose one day in the week that I will curl/flat iron my hair, and for the rest of the week I go without heat! My 1st blog post might give you a few hairstyle ideas that you don’t need heat to achieve!
****Also, if you’re going to use a curling iron/flat iron please remember to use heat protectant****

    5. And lastly, get regular haircuts! I was that girl that would trim half an inch off, once a year. In order to grow out your hair, you need to trim those little split ends!

I hope these tips help you to achieve your hair goals!! Here are a few products that I recommend:

KM Heated Defense

Olaplex No. 6 & No. 7

Good base shampoo & conditioner to promote a healthy scalp - I like KM ANGEL.WASH and RINSE

KM YOUNG.AGAIN oil to keep ends hydrated

HYDRATE-ME MASQUE (fine hair) or YOUNG.AGAIN MASQUE (thick hair)
