SALON SOCIETY 1368 ROSE STREET REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN
Hey friends! I’m going to be giving you a few tips on how to grow out your hair! I’ve spent YEARS trying to get my hair to grow passed my collarbones. I started highlighting my hair back in high school, would use my flat iron to straighten it once (sometimes twice) a day, and I was never using the right products!
So let’s start:
Cool it on the bleach. I know it sucks. When you just want to be platinum, Julianne Hough blonde, but your hair won’t let you. There are some ways you can be blonde without having to get your highlights every month.
Please DO NOT sleep on wet hair. When your hair is wet, it is in the most fragile state, so sleeping on it will do some damage. (I was doing this for yeeeeaaars)
MASKS, MASKS, MASKS. And honestly, nothing’s better than pouring yourself a glass of wine and sitting in a bubbly bath with a mask soaking in your hair. (That can be your getaway from the kids, spouse, etc.)
I love styling my hair. I’m a hairstylist - it’s what I do! But putting heat on my hair everyday was definitely one of the biggest reasons why my hair would never grow. I choose one day in the week that I will curl/flat iron my hair, and for the rest of the week I go without heat! My1st blog postmight give you a few hairstyle ideas that you don’t need heat to achieve!
****Also, if you’re going to use a curling iron/flat iron please remember to use heat protectant****
5. And lastly, get regular haircuts! I was that girl that would trim half an inch off, once a year. In order to grow out your hair, you need to trim those little split ends!
I hope these tips help you to achieve your hair goals!! Here are a few products that I recommend:
New to Salon Society: OxyGeneo Facials. The OxyGeneo is an innovative facial for all skin types that delivers 3 skin renewing anti-aging treatments simultaneously: exfoliation, infusion, and oxygenation. This combination improves skin tone, evens texture and nourishes the complexion giving a balanced healthy glow.
So you’ve heard Salon Society is now selling Oribe hair care- amazing! But… where to start? It all looks beautiful and luxurious but there are so many options to choose from! Oribe is a specialty, high-performance, dermatologist-tested brand, and is paraben, sulphate, and gluten-free, colour and keratin treatment safe.
Your stylist did a great job converting you to amazing salon-quality products so you can shop your local drugstore like a pro... but is that *insert fancy product name* available there? We know, it’s confusing. But as with many things, luxury salon brands at a drugstores is too good to be true.
